Little tools that do one job well
We build these for our own architecture and building-physics work (and the odd thing at home), and they are too useful to keep to ourselves. Free for personal and commercial work. No accounts, no adverts, no subscriptions.
PDF Tool
Mark up, measure and count on drawings — quick on big CAD sets.
A PDF viewer and editor made for architecture and building work. Callouts, clouds, hatches and stamps; areas and lengths to scale; counts with totals; redaction, forms, combining and printing to scale. Markups are standard PDF annotations, so they open in Acrobat and Bluebeam too.
Image Tool
Arrows, callouts, blur and crop on screenshots and photos.
Paste a screenshot or open a photo — iPhone HEIC included — then point at things, blur what should not be seen, crop, and save a new picture beside the original. The same markup and measuring tools as PDF Tool, without the PDF parts.
Drive Switcher
The same drive letters at every office, and away from them.
At the office, P: is the server. On the road, P: is the folder your sync app keeps in step. Drive Switcher notices where you are and moves the letters, so shortcuts, recent files and linked drawings keep working. It never touches the files themselves.
Audio Mirror
Sound on the home theatre and the desk speakers at once.
Plays your PC on several outputs together, lines them up with a delay per device, and hides the audio devices you never use from every Windows list. A tray app; no administrator rights needed.
Circadian Light
Screen colour that follows your day, with gentle healthy-habit reminders.
Set your wake time and bedtime. The screen is cool and bright through the day, then warms and dims through the evening as bedtime nears, on every monitor at once, and steps aside for photo and print work. Optional reminders to change focus, breathe, walk, drink water and wind down. Supports a healthy routine; it is not a medical device.
Office Migrator
Office settings, calendars and contacts from the old PC to the new one.
Signatures, templates, macros, fonts, CalDav Synchronizer and every calendar and contact folder, moved in one go — without dragging gigabytes of mail along when the mail already lives on a server. Also exports contacts to CSV and calendars to .ics.
Saved you some time?
The tools stay free either way. A coffee keeps them coming.
